Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Serveeta. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to them. They're written to be readable, not to trick you — if anything is unclear, ask us.

1. Who we are

Serveeta ("we", "us") is a service-booking platform operated by Codenzia. We provide software that lets service providers ("providers") accept bookings, payments, and reviews from end customers ("customers").

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secret. Don't share them. Notify us at security@serveeta.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Provider obligations

• You must have the legal right to perform every service you list.
• Prices, availability, and policies displayed on your provider page must be accurate.
• You are responsible for honoring or cancelling every booking you accept, including issuing refunds when required by your stated policy or local law.
• Regulated categories (medical, legal, financial) may require manual verification before publication.

4. Customer obligations

• Provide accurate contact details so the provider can reach you.
• Show up to bookings you've accepted, or cancel within the provider's stated window.
• Don't abuse the chat or review systems for harassment, spam, or commercial solicitation unrelated to the booking.

5. Fees and refunds

Provider subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel any time and will retain access until the end of the current billing period.

Customer payments to providers (where enabled) are governed by the provider's cancellation and refund policy displayed on their page. Serveeta facilitates the transaction but is not party to it.

6. Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, descriptions, reviews). You grant Serveeta a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

7. Prohibited uses

Don't use Serveeta to list services that are illegal, deceptive, or designed to defraud customers. We may remove listings and terminate accounts for violations without notice.

8. Termination

Either side can terminate the agreement at any time. We retain a copy of your data for 90 days after termination for audit and recovery; after that, it is deleted.

9. Limitation of liability

Serveeta is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, missed bookings, lost revenue, or disputes between providers and customers. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance via email and on this page. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.
